The Ultimate Programmable Scientific Graphing Calculator in C#
This is a programmable scientific graphing calculator. In addition to the usual calculator functions, it does inverse hyperbolic functions, which I have never seen in ANY calculator. It also computes the next prime number and converts whole numbers (up to 306 digits long) to words and vice-versa (e.g., 1234 is one thousand two hundred thirtyfour). It graphs functions in various user-specified colors.
Resizable Checkers in C#
This program plays checkers. You can move checkers to set up your board at any stage. Then you can play the computer or you can run the computer in demo mode, in which the computer plays itself. This does not evaluate which moves are best except to count how many checkers can be jumped or to determine if there is a move that will end the game on this turn.
Number Name in C#
In C# class, we had an assignment to change integers, or rather whole numbers, to their name in words, like 1234 would yield one thousand two hundred thirty four and vice versa. We were limited to 2 billion since we were using integers. Being a math teacher, I did not like that since there were lots of great names for very large numbers. I obtained permission to use big numbers and dealt with a string of digits instead of an integer. I found names for numbers up to a little over 300 digits. I also added scientific notation. I have used the NumberName class that I created in this object oriented program in several apps that I wrote for mobile devices.
